    Bible Verse Open Heavens Daily Devotional 26th April, 2024

    9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

    10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

    11 Give us this day our daily bread.

    12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

    13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

    1. Prayer is a communication between you and God.

    2. Always wait for God’s response to your prayers after you are done praying.

    3. Your praise should be more than your request in prayer.

    4. Whenever you want to pray, always draw God near to you by praising him in all holiness and sincerity.

    5. God’s response to your prayers can come in form of a rebuke.

    Action Point: The next time you are praying, start with thanksgiving and praises before you make a request. Then, wait to hear from Him

    Hymn Open Heavens Daily Devotional 26th April, 2024

    1. Praise to the Lord,

    the Almighty, the King of creation!

    O my soul, praise Him, for He is

    thy health and salvation:

    Join the great throng

    psaltery,organ and song

    sounding in glad adoration!

    2. Praise to the Lord,

    who over all he gloriously reigneth:

    Borne as on eagle-wings, safely

    his saints, He sustaineth.

    Hast thou not seen

    How all thou needest hath been

    Granted in what He ordaineth?

    3. Praise to the Lord,

    who doth prosper thy way and defend thee;

    Surely his goodness and mercy

    shall ever attend thee;

    Ponder anew, What the Almighty can do,

    Who with His love doth befriend thee

    5. Praise to the Lord!

    Oh, let all that is in me adore Him!

    All that hath breath, join with

    Abraham’s seed to adore Him!

    Let the Amen, sum all our praises again;

    Now as we worship before Him.
