1. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)

This parable tells the story of a son who squanders his inheritance but is welcomed back with open arms by his forgiving father. It illustrates God’s unconditional Love, grace, and eagerness to embrace those who repent and return to Him. The story explains the concept of God’s Love that is patient, understanding and enduring. However, we have to decide to return to him to enjoy his Love.

2. The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)

In this parable, Jesus teaches about compassion and Love for neighbors through the story of a Samaritan who selflessly helps a wounded man on the roadside. It highlights the boundless nature of God’s Love and calls for His us to show mercy to everyone, regardless of social or cultural differences. The good Samaritan paid all the fees for the treatment of the wounded man and left extra for his care. His action reflects what Christ did for us on the cross.

3. The Cross and Resurrection (John 19-20)

The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus exemplify the depth of God’s sacrificial Love. Despite humanity’s sin, God sent His Son to bear the consequences and offer redemption. Jesus’ victory over death through resurrection shows the transformative power and depth of God’s Love.

4. The Healing of the Blind Man (John 9:1-41)

Jesus healing a man born blind showcases God’s compassion and willingness to bring restoration to those who are physically or spiritually broken. It emphasizes that God’s Love is not dependent on one’s past or circumstances. He is committed to restoring us fully and correcting everything faulty in our lives.

5. God’s Covenant in Exodus (Exodus 3-6)

The Israelites’ exodus from Egypt was prophesied long before they were enslaved in Egypt. The story of their liberation from slavery in Egypt illustrates God’s Love. God hears the cries of His people, intervenes on their behalf, and establishes a covenant that demonstrates His commitment to guide, protect, and bless them—a covenant rooted in Love. God’s Love is shown through his commitment to fulfilling his word.
