13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

1. The enemies try to bait us with things we desire.

2. You are a lawful captive if you willingly walk into the trap of the enemy.

3. Captivity can be inherited through generations.

4. The enemy uses bait with three characteristics; pleasing to the eyes, pleasant to the taste and invokes the prey’s pride.

5. Temptations arise from our selfish desires, it is necessary we control our selfish desires
