God is a God of restoration and second chance. In my previous post about restoration, I explained the biblical concept of restoration. The Bible accounts for restoration in various areas and spheres of life, and there are bible verses about restoration that gives us hope. In this post, we will look at the types of restoration and their bible verses.

Spiritual Restoration

God promises spiritual restoration and his restoration of man shows his commitment to restoring us spiritually as long as we are willing.

Bible verses about spiritual restoration

 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”

– Psalm 51:10

 “The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

“He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3

 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

 “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” – Psalm 23:3

Physical Restoration

God is willing to restore us physically, whether it pertains to our physical outlook or restoration of health in general. The Bible contains many examples of Jesus healing the lame and the blind.

Emotional Restoration

Our emotions control many of our actions, so God is willing to restore us emotionally. God can restore any form of mental health issue, from depression to obsession or addictions, sexual addictions, pornography and many more, as long as we are willing to submit to his authority.

Relational Restoration

We are admonished to live at peace with all men, and God is willing to restore every broken family relationship, marriage and other kinds of relationship.

Financial Restoration

Our finances are very important to God, and he is committed to providing for our needs according to his riches in glory. Are you going through a difficult time? God has promised his financial restoration.
